This is a family-run business. They are always very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and therefore stay booked with appointments. They do everything under the hood. Provides towing services too. I like going here cause they know everyone. They always are looking out for the customer & won't recommend a service unless they feel it necessary. They're always honest with the customer.

I really like this auto repair shop. I’ve been going to Downtown Automotive for approximately 15 years. I appreciate these mechanics, and I recommend them. They are very knowledgeable, and when I’ve had car repairs from them, the problem is fixed. They will explain thoroughly what’s going on with your car also they do not work on your car without giving you the amount or ballpark figure before doing so. As a woman without much knowledge of car repairs, I’ve never once felt like I was taken advantage of with high car repair payments from these men. It’s very refreshing to receive good customer service, and I recommend these mechanics to anyone needing car repairs.

These guys are HONEST and not only that they worked me in on my last day to get an inspection on my car, and I had never been there before. They were efficient and fast. I had my oil changed and my car inspected - it was reasonably priced as well as doing a great job. A few months later and I just happened to look at the sticker in my window, and I was WAY WAY OVER to get my oil changed, I called them and was told to come on by for them to check my oil, no charge, and made my appointment for a few days later. Downtown Automotive is my permanent place for Auto work now.

Friendly, professional, and honest people. Dropped my vehicle off, but didn't have an appointment. They said they would do their best to work it in, but they were booked solid for three days. There seems to be a common misconception among many that if you have an aftermarket/extended warranty, that your car, truck, SUV, or Jeep must be taken to a dealership. This is not true. Non-dealership / Independent Automotive repair shops can service and repair your new or UNDER WARRANTY/EXTENDED WARRANTY. It is a law that independent automotive repair shops can maintain and service your warranty. All consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the new vehicle's warranty or a vehicle's extended warranty because service was performed by a Non-Dealer/Independent Repair shop.

Per the FTC, “It's illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had warranty work or routine maintenance or repairs performed by our automotive shop. Routine maintenance can include anything from oil changes, tire rotations and belt replacement, to fluid checks, flushes, new brake pads, and inspections.” It is also important to note that the “Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for a company to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty for the simple cause that you used an aftermarket or recycled part.”

One of the major perks of bringing your vehicle to an independent repair shop is the ability to make your money go further. Many times, warranties will have a limit or a deductible. Our goal is to make your warranty work for you.
